MORE INFORMATION

The updated version of the stored procedure that is installed by this hotfix uses the MSCS_CatalogScratch database instead of the tempdb database. The table is created only the first time. Also, the stored procedure has been optimized for when the Catalog database relationships belong to the same catalog.

Installation instructions

  1. Back up the existing stored procedure before you install this hotfix.
  2. Run the hotfix installer. This will replace the Catalogcreate.sql file. Sites that are unpacked in the future will now receive the stored procedure update.
  3. To change the stored procedure in an existing site, follow these steps:
    1. Run SQL Query Analyzer.
    2. Choose the Commerce database that contains the catalog.
    3. On the File menu, click Open.
    4. Locate the 887232.sql script file that is included in the hotfix package.
    5. On the Query menu, click Execute. This updates the stored procedure in the site.
