This article describes how to unban a player in a multiplayer session of Microsoft Halo: Combat Evolved.

To unban a player, follow these steps:
  1. Right-click the game shortcut, and then click Properties.
  2. In the Target text box on the Shortcut tab, type a space, and then type -console at the end of the path statement after the closing quotation mark.
  3. Click OK to close the game properties dialog box.
  4. Start a multiplayer game session.
  5. After you are in the multiplayer game session, press the tilde (~) key, and then press TAB.
  6. Type sv_unban, type a space, and then type the user name of the player who you want to unban.
  7. Press ENTER.
  8. Press the tilde key (~) to close the window.
