Technical updateDecember 13, 2005 - After you install security update 885250, you may not be able to view the contents of a subfolder on a network share in Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 1 (SP1), in Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (SP2), or in Microsoft Windows Server 2003. This issue only occurs under very special conditions. This issue has been fixed by a download. For more information, see the "Known issues" section.

Known issues- After you install security update 885250,
the issue that is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article may occur:
895900 You cannot save a file from your Windows XP-based or Windows 2000-based computer to a shared folder on a file server
- After you install security update 885250, you may not be able to view the contents of a subfolder on a network share in Windows XP with SP1, in Windows XP with SP2, or in Windows Server 2003.
