How to turn on the Application Sharing feature in Live Meeting (884962)

The Application Sharing feature can be turned on or off for your company's Conference Center, for individual organizers, and for individual meetings. To determine whether the Application Sharing feature is turned on for your Conference Center, contact your company's Microsoft Office Live Meeting administrator.

If the Application Sharing feature is turned on for your company's Conference Center, ask your Live Meeting administrator to turn on the Application Sharing feature for your account.

If the Application Sharing feature is turned on for your account, you can turn on the Application Sharing feature for any new meetings that you schedule. You turn on the Application Sharing feature on the Live Meeting version 4.4 Profile page or in the Live Meeting 2003 Preferences.

To globally set your preferred type of Application Sharing in Live Meeting version 4.4, follow these steps:

1. Log on to your Live Meeting account.
2. Click Profile.
3. In Section 5 (Application Sharing), select the type of Application Sharing that you want to use.
4. Click Done.

To globally set your preferred type of Application Sharing in Live Meeting 2003, follow these steps:

1. Log on to your Live Meeting account.
2. Under Manage, click Preferences.
3. Under Preferences, click Meeting.
4. Under Application Sharing, select the type of Application Sharing that you want to use.
5. Click submit.

To change the Application Sharing setting for a single meeting in Live Meeting version 4.4, follow these steps:

1. Log on to your Live Meeting account.
2. Click Manage Meetings.
3. Locate the meeting that you want to modify.
4. Click the meeting ID link.
5. Click Modify Meeting.
6. Click Optional Properties.
7. Under Application Sharing, select the type of Application Sharing that you want to use.
8. Click Done.

To change the Application Sharing setting for a single meeting in Live Meeting 2003, follow these steps:

1. Log on to your Live Meeting account.
2. Under Manage, click Meetings.
3. Locate the meeting that you want to modify.
4. Click edit.
5. Under Advanced Meeting Options, click edit.
6. Under Application Sharing, select the type of Application Sharing that you want to use.
7. Click submit.
