- Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Standard Edition
- Microsoft Outlook Mobile Access
SYMPTOMSIf you try to use Microsoft Outlook Mobile Access to type a message on a Samsung SPH-I330 mobile device, when you view the edit text screen, you can see only 29.5 characters. If you enter more than 29.5 characters, the screen does not scroll forward and you cannot see the characters as they are entered. The characters that are entered after 29.5 characters are accepted by the device. However, those characters cannot be seen.CAUSEThis problem occurs because the edit text screen on the Samsung SPH-I330 mobile device does not support the multi-line edit function when you use Outlook Mobile Access.WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, post the message to the server, and then reopen the message and view the edit text screen. You can now see all the text characters that you had entered.MORE INFORMATION
