You cannot access old recordings in Live Meeting (867577)

SYMPTOMS

When you use Microsoft Office Live Meeting, you may experience one or more of the following problems:
  • Old recordings are not available.
  • Some of the recording formats are not available when you try to view a recording.
  • The status of the recording is Unknown.

CAUSE

This problem occurs if the recording is in the publication process.

RESOLUTION

If the Available status is Unknown for any one of your recordings, follow these steps:
  1. Verify that the View Recording Info page refreshes automatically every few minutes.
  2. If the View Recording Info page refreshes, the recording is being published, and the recording will be available in several hours.
  3. After the recording has published, the Available status will be Yes.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
