SYMPTOMS

When you add rows to a subform in your custom Microsoft Access 2002 program on a Tablet PC computer, your custom program may quit unexpectedly, and you may receive the following error message:
Microsoft Access has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you view the details of the error message, you receive an error signature that is similar to the following:

CAUSE

This problem may occur if you use the virtual keyboard (Tabtip.exe) on the Tablet PC.
