CAUSEThis problem occurs if Microsoft SQL Server is installed on one drive but if the data resides on another drive.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, follow these steps: - Click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Windows Explorer.
- Locate Program Files, click Microsoft SQL Server, click MSSQL, click REPLDATA, click MSCRM, and then verify that you have multiple MSCRM folders on multiple drives.
- If you locate this folder on multiple drives, verify that the folder on the data drive is shared. To do this, follow these steps:
- On the data drive, right-click MSCRM, and then click Sharing.
- Click the Sharing tab, and then verify that the folder is shared with the share name MSCRMSnapshotShare.
Note If the MSCRM folder is shared with a name other than MSCRMSnapshotShare, you may have to remove the share rights, change the share name to MSCRMSnapshotShare, and then grant share rights again.
