The Live Meeting console may not load when you try to log into a Live Meeting by using Internet Explorer (842372)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to log into a Microsoft Office Live Meeting by using Microsoft Internet Explorer, the Live Meeting console may not load.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the security settings for the Internet Web content zone are set to High in Microsoft Internet Explorer. This setting prevents the console or the Java applet console from loading.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, you must change the zone security settings in Internet Explorer. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. Click the Internet icon.
  4. Click Default level, and then click OK.
  5. Quit and then restart Internet Explorer.
The new settings load.
