Microsoft Office Word 2004 for Mac stops responding when you paste an OLE object in a document.

CAUSE

This issue occurs if you close the source document where you copied the OLE object from before you save the document where you pasted the OLE object.

WORKAROUND

Save the document with the pasted OLE object before you close the source document.
