FIX: BizTalk Server 2004 HL7 Accelerator hotfix rollup package (840108)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft BizTalk Server Accelerator for HL7

SUMMARY

The following problems have been fixed in the Microsoft BizTalk Server Accelerator for HL7 hotfix rollup package:
  • When you use the Minimal Lower Layer Protocol (MLLP) Adapter to receive documents, if you do not specify a <CR> byte as the end of document delimiter, the adapter will not receive documents.
  • With the HL7 Adapter, Microsoft shipped a set of property schemas that use a period (".") in the node name. This causes the BizTalk Editor to fail during schema validation.
  • The MSH (the HL7 message header) Schema enumeration list has been updated to meet the current HL7 standard. The MSH message header segment accompanies every HL7 message and communicates information such as the version of the HL7 standard that is used, the type of message that is sent, and the encoding characters that are used for field and segment separators.
  • The HL7 Administrator User interface now supports Microsoft Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) addresses and host names.
