A security problem has occurred. The navigation fails, and the item that is requested does not appear. CAUSEThe problem occurs if the navigation requires additional user interaction to complete the connection to the Web server before the item download is requested. Typically, this problem occurs for any one of the following reasons: - If Basic Authentication for the Web site is required.
- If a security alert dialog box, such as the dialog box that is used to validate the server certificate is required.
- If the dialog box to select a client certificate to complete a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection is required.
These dialog boxes do not appear. Therefore, these dialog boxes prevent the navigation from successfully completing. The error message states that the cause of the problem is a security problem, such as a trust problem during the connection process. RESOLUTIONFor users of Microsoft Word 2002 a design change has been made that permits the security dialog boxes to appear so that you can provide the additional information and then complete the navigation.
