FIX: The DateTimePicker control displays an incorrect date string when the down arrow key is used to change the month (839574)

SYMPTOMS

When the user changes the month that is currently selected by using the down arrow key on the DateTimePicker control, an incorrect date string is displayed. For example, this behavior may occur if the user presses the down arrow key to change the month from 02 to 01 (from February to January).

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the control does not correctly calculate the month that is to be displayed. Instead of using numbers between 1 and 12, the control uses a number such as 13.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information

Prerequisites

This fix is supported only when all previously issued fixes for this product have also been installed.

Restart requirement

After you install this hotfix, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To clean the platform, click Clean on the Build menu. To build the platform, click Build Platform on the Build menu.

Hotfix replacement information

This hotfix does not replace any other hotfixes.
