You cannot use the mouse to click the Back button and view a previous window in Media Center (839572)

SYMPTOMSWhen you use the mouse to click the Back
button in a Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004 window, the previous
window appears for only a very brief moment, and then the current window
appears again. The previous window seems to flash" one time.
If you
try to click the Back button again, the same behavior may
occur. CAUSEThis problem may occur if the following sequence of events
occurs:
- In Media Center, start an HTML-based application such as
Online Spotlight.
- Press one of the following buttons on the remote control:
My TV, My Music, My Videos,
or My Pictures.
- Use the mouse to click the Back button at
the top of the current window in Media Center.
Notice that the
previous window appears for only a very brief moment, and then the current
window appears again.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, use one of the following methods:
- Use the Back button on the remote control
to return to the previous window.
- Press the BACKSPACE key on the keyboard to return to the
previous window.
- If neither one of the previous actions resolve the problem,
you might have to restart the Media Center program.
