Event ID 9100 is logged in the application log when you run a script in Microsoft Operations Manager 2000 (839180)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2000, when you run a script that uses the ScriptContext.Submit function to report events, the script does not submit process events.

When a script runs, events that are similar to the following may be logged in the application event log:Source: OnePoint Operations

Event ID: 9100
Description: An error occurred on line 477 while executing script 'Exchange 2003 - Verify Test Mailboxes' Source: SWbemLocator Description: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.Note This example references the Exchange Management Pack.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the Resubmit.wkf file on the MOM agent computer is corrupted. The .wkf files are agent temporary storage files. These files include AgentResponseMgr.wkf, EvtCons.wkf, and Resubmit.wkf.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, click Programs, click Administrative Tools, and then click Services.
  2. In the details pane, right-click the OnePoint service, and then click Stop.
  3. In the \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Mission Critical Software\OnePoint\config group name folder, delete the Resubmit.wkf file.
  4. In the details pane, right-click the OnePoint service, and then click Start.
The Resubmit.wkf file is automatically re-created.
