The BizTalk Server Accelerator for RosettaNet may fail when it validates the signature of an inbound message (839179)

SYMPTOMS

The Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet may fail not validate the signature of an inbound message although the signature is valid. This problem occurs when the inbound message contains a character or characters that are not in the ANSI character set. The following error message is added to the application event log:

Accelerator for RosettaNet failed to validate the signature of the partner. Processing of the document has been stopped.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
