SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Business Solutions CRM version 1.2, updating an existing e-mail activity inserts an entry in the ActivityPartyBase table. Over time, this database table grows and may decrease system performance. In addition, these database entries are not removed when the Microsoft CRM Deletion Server runs. The following error appears in the application event log: "Error: Can't clean up the following tables: Activity."

RESOLUTION

Microsoft Business Solutions CRM has a fix for this problem that is part of a cumulative update. The cumulative update information is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
