SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, if you add a new tab to the
Toolbox, and then you delete the new tab without naming it, the next time that
you try to start Visual Studio .NET, the IDE stops responding.CAUSEThis problem occurs because the Toolbox.tbd file has become
corrupted.WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, delete the Toolbox.tbd file.
The Toolbox.tbd file is located in the following folder: Documents and
Settings\User Name\Application
Data\Microsoft\VisualStudio\7.0
Note User Name is a placeholder for your
user name. Visual Studio .NET re-creates the Toolbox.tbd file when
you quit Visual Studio .NET. When you start Visual Studio .NET again, the IDE
works as expected. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.REFERENCESFor more information, visit the following Microsoft
