The BizTalk Adapter for SAP 1.0 is not supported to run as a clustered resource in a Cluster service environment (838181)

SYMPTOMS

If you configure the Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for SAP version 1.0, or any one of its dependencies, as a clustered resource in a Cluster service environment, you may experience data loss when you use the BizTalk Adapter for SAP to process documents.

CAUSE

The BizTalk Adapter for SAP has never been tested for use as a clustered resource in a Cluster service environment.

RESOLUTION

Do not configure the BizTalk Adapter for SAP to run as a clustered resource in a Cluster service environment. Running the BizTalk Adapter for SAP as a clustered resource in a Cluster service environment is not a supported configuration.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
