FIX: The TS835W1__PLB_ProviderAdjustment segments do not appear in split multiple subdocument instances in BizTalk Server Accelerator for HIPAA 2.0 (838032)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft BizTalk Server Accelerator for HIPAA 2.0

SYMPTOMS

When you use the HIPAA 835_v2_wpc_multiple.xml schema in a document definition, Microsoft BizTalk Server Accelerator for HIPAA 2.0 splits the incoming document into multiple subdocument instances. Each subdocument instance contains all the information in the header part of the X12 transaction set, plus a single loop of data that begins with the TS835W1_2000 loop.

However, if one or more TS835W1__PLB_ProviderAdjustment segments appear in the incoming document, these segments do not appear in any one of the subdocument instances.

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. MORE INFORMATION

The new schema splits the incoming document into multiple subdocument instances based on both the TS835W1_2000 loop and the TS835W1__PLB_ProviderAdjustment segment. Each subdocument contains the header part of the X12 transaction set and either a complete TS835W1_2000 loop or a TS835W1__PLB_ProviderAdjustment segment.
