SYMPTOMSWhen you use Microsoft Content Management Server (MCMS) 2002 Connector for SharePoint Technologies to perform a crawl on a very large MCMS Web site, some crawl results are repeated. This behavior may occur when the returned search results contain more than 400 records.CAUSEThis behavior occurs because of the way that MCMS 2002 Connector for SharePoint Technologies manages its search index while users explore the search results. After the SharePoint Portal Server searching service completes indexing an MCMS Web site, you can use the MCMS 2002 Connector for SharePoint Technologies to query search results from the MCMS Web site. The MCMS 2002 Connector for SharePoint Technologies is designed to return 202 records at a time from a search result set. The behavior that is described in the "Symptoms" section occurs when you perform a search query and you paginate through the returned records. You may notice that two records are repeated for every 200 records. The records that are repeated are typically result 201 and result 202.STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section of this article.REFERENCES
