Transparency may not print in PowerPoint 2003 (832340)

SYMPTOMS

When you print your presentation that contains an object that is formatted by using the Transparency feature in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003, the transparency may not print and underlying objects and text may not print.

CAUSE

This problem may occur when you print to some PCL and PostScript printers, and may also occur when you print color, grayscale, or black and white.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, do one of the following:
  • Avoid formatting objects by using the Transparency feature.
  • Try to print your presentation to a different printer.
