Base Station Management Tool navigation pane is not displayed (831745)

SYMPTOMS

When you log on to the Base Station Management Tool Web page, the left navigation pane is not displayed. You cannot use the following links that are typically displayed on the left navigation pane:
  • Home
  • Management
  • Local Area Network
  • Wireless
  • Security

CAUSE

This issue may occur if the Microsoft Internet Explorer security settings are set so high that the content in the left navigation pane is blocked.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, change Internet Explorer the security settings. To do so, follow these steps.

Caution When you follow these steps, you lower the Internet security settings that are configured on your computer. Make sure that you understand the implications of reducing the security settings on your computer before you perform this procedure. For additional information, see the "More Information" section of this article.
  1. In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  2. Click the Security tab, and then click Internet under Select a Web content zone to specify its security settings.
  3. Click Custom level under Security level for this zone, lower the setting one level, and then click OK.
  4. Open (or press F5 to refresh) the Base Station Management Tool Web page.

    If the issue is not resolved, repeat step 3.
