Data in a converted List View Web Part is not visible in Design view in FrontPage 2003 (830973)


The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

When you view a Web page in Design view, the data in a List View Web Part is not visible.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if all the following conditions are true:
  • The Web Part is in XSLT Data view.
  • The view setting style of the List View Web Part is one of the following:
    • Boxed
    • Boxed, no labels
    • Two column comma separated
    • Two column repeating form
  • The Show group header check box is selected in Sort & group.

WORKAROUND

This problem only affects Design view. The data is visible on the Web page when you use your browser to view it.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section of this article.
