FIX: Characters that are entered in a Web form input field by using the Chinese IME appear two times in Windows CE .NET 4.2 (830717)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Chinese Input Method Editor (IME) to enter characters in an input field in a Web form, the characters appear two times. For example, this problem may occur when you enter characters in the search criteria field of a Web search engine.

Prerequisites

This update is supported only if all previously issued updates for this product have also been installed.

Restart requirement

After you install this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To clean the platform, click Clean on the Build menu. To build the platform, click Build Platform on the Build menu. You do not have to restart your computer after you apply this update.
