FIX: SOAP Request Is Unsuccessful When Using Client Certificate (830492)


The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Windows CE .NET 4.1

SYMPTOMS

When the UseSSL property is enabled on the HttpConnector object, and when the server requests a client certificate to establish the SSL connection, you receive the following error message: CONN_E_HTTP_UNSPECIFIEDThe error occurs in the EndMessage method in HttpConnector.

This behavior prevents client certificates from being used with SOAP requests.

RESOLUTION

Prerequisites

This fix is supported only when all previously issued fixes for this product have also been installed.

Restart Requirement

After you apply this update, you must perform a clean operation and then rebuild the platform.
