Project 2003 quits unexpectedly when you select an item in the drop-down list (830420)

SYMPTOMS

When you click a drop-down list in Microsoft Office Project 2003 on the Compaq Tablet PC TC1000, you may experience one of the following symptoms:

You may not be able to select an item in the drop-down list and the dialog box may close.
On the Tools menu when you point to Enterprise Options, and then click Check out Enterprise Global, Project 2003 quits unexpectedly.
When you create a new project, Project 2003 quits unexpectedly.

CAUSE

This problem may be caused by the NVIDIA video driver that is provided by Compaq.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, update your NVIDIA video driver to version 1.00C or later. To do this, visit the following Compaq Web site:
