Content is missing from the search results when you search for recurring meeting information in SharePoint Portal Server 2003 (830345)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003, when you search for content that is stored in a Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services Web site that uses the Meeting Workspace site template, some content is missing from the search results. Only content from the next occurrence of the meeting is listed in the search results. Content from past meetings and content from other future meetings are not listed in the search results.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the Meeting Workspace Web site contains recurring meeting information. In this situation, SharePoint Portal Server 2003 does not crawl content that is contained in all occurrences of a recurring meeting. Therefore, you experience the symptoms that are described in the "Symptoms" section of this article.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
