Hotfix information
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Windows Server 2003 service pack that contains this hotfix.

Prerequisites
No prerequisites are required.
Note If you are using Terminal Server, you must activate install mode
before you apply this hotfix. To do this, open a command prompt and then type
change user /install. After you install the hotfix,
return the Terminal Server to execute mode. To do this, open a command prompt
and then type
change user /execute.
Restart requirement
You must restart your computer after you apply this hotfix.

File information
The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in coordinated universal time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the
Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.

Installation instructions
Warning If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious
problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft
cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry
Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
You
must add the following registry key to correctly apply this hotfix. By default,
the following registry key is not present. After you apply the hotfix, follow
these steps:
- Click Start, click Run,
type regedit in the Open box, and then
click OK.
- In Registry Editor, click the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings
- On the Edit menu, point to
New, and then click DWORD value.
- Type NoDomainNameInTitle, and then
press ENTER.
- Right-click NoDomainNameInTitle, and then
click Modify.
- Type 00000001,
and then click OK.
- Exit Registry Editor.
