NUM LOCK and CAPS LOCK keys are out of sync when you shadow another RDP session in Windows 2000 (830268)

SYMPTOMS

When you toggle the CAPS LOCK or NUM LOCK keys in a Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) session that is shadowing another RDP session, the key states and the key lights become out of sync.

RESOLUTION

Install this hotfix on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 2000 Terminal Server, and then update the client software as described in the "More Information" section.
