Visio 2003 appears to stop responding when you right-click a shape in your Web site map diagram and then click Interactive Hyperlink Selection (830042)

SYMPTOMS

If you use an ActiveX control to start Microsoft Office Visio 2003 as a customized program and then open a Web site map, Visio 2003 appears to stop responding (hang) when you right-click a shape that is in the Web site map diagram, and then click Interactive Hyperlink Selection.

You cannot interact with your Web site map or the Interactive Discovery dialog box that appears in the Visio 2003 program window.

CAUSE

This problem occurs if you use Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 to create an ActiveX control, use that ActiveX control to start Visio 2003, and then open your Web site map.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, press the ESC key to restore focus to your Web site map.
