Video Dropouts Using Color Eraser and Other Effects (83785)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Paintbrush for MS-DOS 4.1
This article was previously published under Q83785 SUMMARY
In Microsoft Paintbrush version 4.1, you may experience some video
dropouts on the drawing canvas using certain tools and effects. You
may notice this problem when using the color eraser or the brightness
effect. As you move your mouse on the drawing canvas at a normal rate,
you may notice video dropouts that result in something like holes or
misses on the drawing.
MORE INFORMATION
This problem may become worse when running Paintbrush with virtual
memory, because the program may run slower. The problem appears to be
independent of the system. Although this problem may bothersome, you
can work around it by moving the mouse more slowly on the screen.
