SUMMARY
If you receive the error message "Number Not Valid" while trying to
print from Microsoft Works version 2.x for Windows, it may indicate a
problem with an installed math coprocessor -- either the coprocessor
is burning out or needs to be reseated.
To determine if the coprocessor is the problem, remove the coprocessor
and try to print again. If you are able to print, the problem is with
the coprocessor.
MORE INFORMATION
Although Works does not use a math coprocessor directly, coprocessors
by their nature work so closely with the CPU that when they begin to
generate garbage calculations they affect the CPU's internal
registers, which Works relies on to carry out certain tasks.
In many instances, other programs that make use of the coprocessor
(such as AutoCad) will also experience problems.
