SYMPTOMSIf a computer name is in multi-byte characters, you cannot use the inet_addr function to obtain the IP address.CAUSEWhen you use the Java.IO.InetAddress class and the INetAddress.cpp component ASCII buffers may not be allocated with sufficient size and your program returns a 0.0.0.0 IP address.STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.Microsoft is researching this problem and will post more information in this article when the information becomes available.
