You Must Navigate to a Source Directory That You Have Already Specified When You Create a New Package (829844)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003
SYMPTOMSWhen you type the Universal Naming Convention (UNC) name of the source directory for a new package, the Browse for folder dialog box appears instead of the source directory, and then you must navigate to the directory that you have already specified. For example, this issue occurs when you follow these steps: - You create a new package that contains source files.
- In the Package Properties dialog box, you click Set on the Data Source tab.
- In the Set Source Directory dialog box, you click Network path (UNC Name).
- In the Source Directory box, you type the UNC name of a source directory.
- You click Browse.
When you click Browse, the Browse for folder dialog box appears, and My Network Places is selected. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section of this article.
