A keyboard shortcut does not appear with a custom menu command when you add the command by using a VBA macro in Visio 2003 (829618)

SYMPTOMSWhen you run a Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
macro that adds a custom menu command to a menu and adds a keyboard accelerator
(keyboard shortcut) to the custom menu command, the keyboard accelerator does
not appear with the custom menu command.
Note If you press the keyboard accelerator keys on the keyboard or
click the menu command on the menu, the function works as
expected.WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem and to make sure that the
keyboard accelerator appears with the menu command, do one of the following:
- Save, close, and then reopen your Microsoft Office Visio
2003 document.
-or- - On the Window menu, click Show
ShapeSheet, and then close the ShapeSheet.
STATUS Microsoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
