You cannot use the wheel button on a mouse to scroll through the list of templates in Visio 2003 (829227)

SYMPTOMS

When you start Microsoft Office Visio 2003, you cannot use the wheel button on your mouse to scroll through the list of templates.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the Template area on the Choose Drawing Type pane is not the focus of the window for the mouse.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, click the Template area on the Choose Drawing Type pane to make this area the focus of the mouse. You can now use the wheel button on your mouse to scroll through the Template area.
