Hyperlinks in a rotated text box or a text box that has border art are lost in Publisher 2003 (829173)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Office Publisher 2003
SYMPTOMSWhen you create hyperlinked text in a rotated text box or
in a text box that has a border art from a Microsoft Office Publisher 2003
print publication, the hyperlink will be lost when you publish or preview in
the browser.CAUSEThis issue may occur if the Publisher 2003 publication is in
print mode.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, create a Web publication in Publisher
2003 instead of a print publication. If a publication is already created in
print mode, do one of the following:
- Convert the publication to Web. To do this, follow these
steps:
- Open the publication in print mode.
- On the File menu, click
Convert to Web Publication.
- If you want to keep the publication in print mode, manually
undo the rotation of the text box, and then remove any border art from the text
box.
