You receive a warning message when you save a file to Project Server 2003-based server where a Local Resource has the same Windows account as an Enterprise Resource (828825)
The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMSWhen you save a file to your Microsoft Office Project Server
2003-based server, you may receive the following warning message: Local Resource resource name has
the same name as an Enterprise Resource and must be changed before the project
can be saved.
The Local Resource cannot be replaced by the enterprise
resource with the same name because either:
The Enterprise Resource
is already a team member.
You do not have permissions to bring the
Enterprise Resource named resource name into your
project.
The Local and Enterprise Resources are of different
types.
You do not have Build Team permissions on this project.
You do not have Assign Resource permissions on this
resource.
Rename the Local Resource or cancel the
save?WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, remove the Microsoft
Windows account information from the Local Resource. To do this, follow these
steps:
- Log on to the computer as the administrator or as a member
of the Administrators group.
- Create a new local user account for the user who does not
belong to the Local Resource.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.MORE INFORMATIONIn Microsoft Project, you can create a Local Resource that
uses a Windows account that is also associated with an Enterprise Resource.
Avoid using duplicate Windows accounts. Use aWindows account for only one
resource.
