You can promote any Note Flags or text in a Microsoft Office OneNote 2003 page to one or more Outlook 2003 Tasks. To do this, use one of the following methods.

Use the Note Flag Toolbar Option

  1. Click the Note Flag or click the text that you want to promote to an Outlook Task.
  2. On the Note Flag (To Do) menu, click Create Outlook Task on the drop-down menu.
  3. Fill out the Task form as required, and then click Save and Close.

Use the Format Menu

  1. Click the Note Flag or click the text that you want to promote to an Outlook Task.
  2. On the Format menu, point to Note Flags, and then click Create Outlook Task.
  3. Fill out the Task form as required, and then click Save and Close.

Use the Selection Handle Option

  1. Click the Note Flag or click the text that you want to promote to an Outlook Task.
  2. Right-click the selection handle (four headed arrow) to the left of the selected Note Flag, and then click Create Outlook Task.
  3. Fill out the Task form as required, and then click Save and Close.
Note You can select multiple Note Flags or lines of text and turn them into a single Outlook Task.
