The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Office OneNote 2003
- Microsoft Office OneNote 2003, Service Pack 1 (SP1)
SYMPTOMSWhen you start to write in the note area of a Microsoft
Office OneNote 2003 page on a Tablet PC, the Input Method Editor (IME) in the
Language bar may appear to be turned off. That is, the Input style is changed
to IMM32 mode (dark red balloon icon).CAUSEThis behavior may occur if the focus (or insertion point) is
in the title section of the OneNote 2003 page.WORKAROUNDTo work around this behavior, move the focus in OneNote 2003
to the main note area. To do this, do one of the following before you try to
write in OneNote 2003 on a Tablet PC:
- Tap with the pen in the main note area of the
page.
- Press TAB.
- Press CTRL+T.
