You cannot see the simple 3D Geometry in a computer-aided design (CAD) display object in Visio 2003 (827247)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Office Visio Standard 2003
- Microsoft Office Visio Professional 2003
SYMPTOMSWhen you open a file that contains simple 3D geometry in a computer-aided design (CAD) display object, the 3D geometry is not visible in the CAD display object. CAUSEThis behavior occurs because Microsoft Visio 2003 does not support the display of simple 3D geometry in CAD display objects. WORKAROUNDTo work around this behavior, use AutoCAD to degenerate 3D solids to 3D faces before you try to open the CAD display object in Visio. STATUS
This behavior is by design.MORE INFORMATION
