"Invalid URL Parameter" Error Message When You Configure A Document Library for E-Mail Insertion in Windows SharePoint Services (825213)

SYMPTOMSWhen you configure a document library for e-mail insertion
in Windows SharePoint Services, and you specify the path of the Microsoft
Exchange public folder that you want to link to in the Public folder
address box of the Document Library Advanced Settings:
DocumentLibraryName Document Library page,
you may receive the following error message after you click
OK: Error
Invalid URL Parameter
The URL provided contains an invalid Command or Value. Please check the URL again. CAUSEThis behavior may occur if you use any the following
characters (or sequence of characters) in the path of the Microsoft Exchange
public folder: You cannot use any of these characters (or sequence of characters)
when you specify the path of the Exchange public folder in the Public
folder address box of the Document Library Advanced Settings:

in Windows SharePoint Services. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this behavior, make sure that you type the
correct path of the Exchange public folder. Additionally, make sure that you do
not use any of the characters (or sequence of characters) that are referenced
in the "Cause" section of this article in the path of the Exchange public
folder .
