"Error writing to LPT1" error message when you print from Virtual PC for Windows (825106)

SYMPTOMSWhen you print from a Connectix Virtual PC for Windows
guest PC, you may receive the following error message:
Error writing to LPT1 CAUSEThis behavior may occur if the parallel port on the host
computer is set to extended capabilities port (ECP) mode.RESOLUTION To resolve this behavior, follow these steps: - In the basic input/output system (BIOS) of the host computer,
set the parallel port mode to Standard or to Bidirectional.
The BIOS of your computer may list the Standard setting as Normal or Output Only. - Test to see if you can print successfully.
- If you still receive the error message that is described in the
"Symptoms" section, make sure that the parallel port memory address and the interrupt request (IRQ) setting on the host computer are the same as on the guest PC.
