SYMPTOMS

The Language bar may not be displayed on the Microsoft Windows XP taskbar.

CAUSE

This problem may occur when the Hyper-Threading feature is enabled in your computer's BIOS.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article.
