The information in this article applies to:
- Connectix Virtual PC for Mac version 5.0
- Connectix Virtual PC for Mac version 6.0
SUMMARYTo stop a process, if you are using a version of Virtual PC for Mac that is earlier than version 5.0, you can use either the CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE keyboard shortcut or the CTRL+ALT+DEL keyboard shortcut (where DEL is the forward-delete key that deletes characters to the right of the insertion point). In Virtual PC for Mac version 5.0 or later, these two key combinations do not perform the same function.MORE INFORMATIONTo stop a process in Virtual PC for Mac version 5.0 or later, use the SHIFT+CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE keyboard shortcut on a keyboard without a DEL key.
In Virtual PC 5.0.3 or later, you can simulate the CTRL+ALT+DEL key combination by clicking Type Ctrl-Alt-Del on the Control menu.
