Movie Maker Publish Error: "A Recordable CD Drive Was Not Detected" (824917)

SYMPTOMSWhen you try to publish with Movie Maker to a CD-ROM, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following error message: A recordable CD drive was not detected. CAUSEThis behavior may occur if you use an HP Direct Letter Access (DLA) driver.RESOLUTIONTo resolve the problem, follow these steps: - Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
- Click Add or Remove Programs.
- Click HP DLA, click Remove, and then follow the instructions on your screen to remove the software.
- Click Start, and then click My Computer.
- Right-click the CD-ROM drive or the DVD-ROM drive, and then click Properties.
- On the Recording tab, click to select the Enable CD recording on this drive check box, and then click OK.
