The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Picture It! Publishing 2002
- Microsoft Picture It! Publishing 2002, Gold, version 1.0
- Microsoft Picture It! Publishing Platinum 2002 1.0
SYMPTOMSWhen you try to print or preview business cards in Microsoft
Picture It! Publishing, the text may be offset or off the page.CAUSEThis problem occurs if the print driver is not compatible
with multilayered images. WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, change the information to a
single layer. If the information is in one layer, for example a graphics file,
the information prints correctly. To change the information to a single layer,
follow these steps:
- Start Picture It!, and then open the project.
- On the File menu, click Save
As.
- Under Save as this type:, click
JPEG File Interchange Format.
- Type a name for your project, and then click
Save.
- Close your current project, and then start a new blank
business card project.
- Click Add Something, point to
Picture, cutout, or clip, and then click From My
computer.
- Locate the JPEG file that you saved in step 4.
- Click the image, and then click Add.
- Adjust the image on the business card.
- Print the project.
