SYMPTOMSYou cannot create a Red Hat Linux 6.2 guest PC in Virtual PC. The Linux installation generates errors and quits before files are copied to the guest PC virtual hard disk.CAUSEThis issue occurs if Virtual PC is installed on an Intel Pentium 4-based computer. You cannot install Red Hat Linux 6.2 on a Pentium 4-based computer system. This same issue occurs if you try to install Red Hat Linux 6.2 on the Pentium 4-based host PC. WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, create the new guest PC by installing the latest version of Red Hat Linux.
