"Access Denied" Error Message When You Try to Log on to Outlook Web Access by Using Internet Explorer (824635)


The information in this article applies to:

  • Connectix Virtual PC for Mac version 5.0

SYMPTOMS

When you try to log on to Microsoft Outlook Web Access (https://mail.Web_Server/exchange/user_name), you may receive the following error message:
Access Denied
Then, you are prompted to change your browser's security level.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when you use Internet Explorer 5 to access an Outlook Web Access (OWA) Web site through Virtual PC.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, upgrade to the latest version of Internet Explorer. To do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
